Pedigrees

A pedigree is the sire, dam, and certificate for an animal. Set parents on Update, then generate the certificate from the animal grey bar.

Parents

Open the animal and click Update. Set sire, dam, identity, and photos.

Certificate

Click Generate Certificate on the grey bar. Certificate appearance is under Settings, then Certificate Settings.

Creating and editing pedigrees

Set sire and dam on the animal, then generate the certificate.

1. Update

Open the animal and click Update. Set sire, dam, identity, and photos.

2. Generate Certificate

Click Generate Certificate on the grey bar.

When you can't find an animal

Parent search lists animals that can appear as sire or dam for that birth year.

1. Update the animal

Open the animal and click Update. Search for the parent.

2. New animal

If the parent is missing, click New animal on the grey bar and complete its record first.

Creating custom leases

Create a lease from the animal that is being leased out.

1. View All

On the home dashboard open Latest Animals and click View All.

2. Description

Click the animal Description to open the record.

3. Lease

Click Lease. Set the lessee, dates, and type, then save.

Downloading Certificates

Download the pedigree PDF from the animal grey bar.

1. Generate Certificate

Click Generate Certificate to open the PDF.

2. Email certificate

Click Email certificate to send that PDF.
